GIP FIPAG - France

Created in 2003, the GIP-FIPAG (Groupement d’Intérêt Public Formation et Insertion Professionnelles de l’Académie de Grenoble / Public Interest Grouping for Professional Training and Integration of the Académie de Grenoble – regional education authority) is a public body participating in the implementation of the Grenoble Academie’s policy in the fields of training and professional integration. Its mission is the development of a concerted cooperation at the level of the Grenoble academie, in the fields of continuing vocational education of adults, training and professional integration.

The action of GIP FIPAG is structured around three priorities:
– To promote the development of all the devices that accompany each citizen towards a professional qualification recognized by the job market;
– To encourage the development of a knowledge-based society by opening up internationally and mobilising the resources offered by the European Union;
– To encourage experimentation and innovation in vocational training and the training-employment relationship.

GIP FIPAG supports the different GRETA of the Académie which are groupings of establishments that are the structures of the national education system that organise training for adults in practically all professional fields. It also directly provides various consulting and training services and pilots the implementation of actions aimed at professional development, such as skills assessment and validation of acquired experience. GIP-FIPAG also manages the academic centre for training apprentices. In terms of consulting and training, GIP FIPAG develops services based on its areas of expertise: pedagogy, skills-based approach, certification and regulation of the training system.

A « Campus des métiers et des qualifications » is a network that brings together all the stakeholders of the value chain for energy transition (renewable energy production, network management, storage, transport and distribution, circular economy).

Its purpose is to develop the skills needed by the industries of today and tomorrow, involving, on a regional scale :

— schools (general, technological and vocational upper secondary schools);
— higher education institutions;
— training organisations;
— research laboratories;
— companies;
— associations.

By offering initial and continuing education in a cutting-edge sector, the Campus helps to expand sectors of excellence and improve vocational opportunities. It can therefore deliver strong solutions to the socio-economic needs of its region.

Smart Energy Systems Campus is labeled by the Ministries of National Education, Higher Education and Research, and the Economy.

XABEC - Spain

Fundacion Eifor is a Non-Profit Organization, the legal body which has promoted XABEC VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE. In this College the three Spanish subsystems of vocational training are taught: Initial Vocational Training (5 qualifications of Middle VET and 3 qualifications of Upper VET), Education for Employment (annually about 15-17
Occupational Training courses) and an average of 12 Continuing Education courses for companies.

Blended learning is also provided by Xabec. Distant-Learning is also provided in Xabec. The courses taught at the Centre are focused in the knowledge area of Industrial Maintenance and Building Installations in which the centre has a vast experience. There are nine workshops; each one specialized in an area of knowledge: electricity, electronics, automation-robotics, hydraulicpneumatic, installations of cold and heat, welding, plumbing and gas, electro mechanics, railway maintenance and renewable energies.
